August 29, 2008 - The Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR) has "officially" extended the required 14 hour continuing education deadline to September 30, 2008 due to storm FAY.

Complete this requirement, without penalty, by clicking the Online Courses button on our Home Page. The first course that is listed includes all 14 required hours and is titled - FLORIDA CONTRACTOR CONTINUING EDUCATION COMPLETE COURSE - 14 REQUIRED HOURS. This course also includes the My Safe Florida Home certification for FL contractors that would like to participate in the grant program. Individual courses are also available for contractors that only need specific hours to meet their requirement.
